On-site IT Technicians Wanted

Your Everyday Life – Contribute to Our Development with a Focus on Security

The IT department currently consists of about 55 people and is continuously growing. We work with both administrative IT environments and security-classified ones, where development and engagement are important to us. We are constantly working on our skills development and we are keen that everyone participates in various training initiatives.

We are now looking for several on-site IT technicians for the IT support group, who are passionate about helping users and see service as an integral part of your work. Among the tasks will be support work within our security-classified IT environments. This will also involve responsibility for ordering and installing hardware and software for PCs. You will also participate in assignments and projects. The tasks vary across a wide spectrum and can include troubleshooting and problem-solving within PCs, printers, and networks as well as administration. Travel may occur.

As part of the introduction, you will start in our IT Service Desk for the first few months to build an understanding of the complexity of our various IT environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a high school education or other education we deem equivalent, or alternatively acquired competence through work experience. You should have work experience from IT support work, e.g., as an IT technician or IT support technician. We want you to have worked with some case management system and you have experience in installation and support of Windows 10/11 as well as user administration in Microsoft Active Directory.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing as well as good knowledge of English. You also have good administrative skills. Swedish citizenship and a B driver's license are required.

It is an advantage if you have any education in the IT security field.

If you have worked with security-classified IT environments and/or worked with smart cards and specific hardware solutions in secure environments, it is to your advantage.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment, with a probationary period possibly applicable. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment at the Fortifications Agency is security classified.
